Long Haul Truck Drivers
As a truck driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of highway trucks.
Key Duties Include:
- Completion of a daily logbook
- Complete and document a daily pre-trip inspection
- Operate within the laws and legislation of Nova Scotia
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean drivers abstract
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 (air brake endorsement) drivers license

Local Truck Drivers (NS Only)
As a local truck driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of highway trucks within Nova Scotia. Work consists of Interplant runs between Michelin plants in NS. This position will require drivers to work every second weekend and working at all hours.

- Completion of a daily logbook
- Complete and document a daily pre-trip inspection
- Operate within the laws and legislation of Nova Scotia
Qualifications:
- Must reside in Pictou County
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Clean drivers abstract
- Valid Class 1 or Class 3 (air brake endorsement) drivers license

B-Train Driver
We are seeking a B-Train Driver to join our team. Someone with experience operating B-train container chassis would be preferred or hauling multiple trailers.
Duties
- Operate vehicles for the transportation of freight, ensuring safe handling and delivery.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Couple and uncouple B-train trailer groups
- Maintain accurate Records of Duty Status utilizing onboard electronic log
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all local and federal driving regulations while on the road.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Familiarity working around heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Previous port or rail yard experience would be an asset
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules.

Truck & Transport Mechanic (Red Seal)
As Red Seal Truck & Transport Mechanic, you will be responsible to perform work on our fleet of company owned vehicles. There are two (2) positions available; one at our shop in Pictou, NS and one at our shop in New Germany, NS.
Key Duties Include:
- Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical systems
- Perform vehicle computer diagnosis
- Repair vehicle mechanical systems
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow safety guidelines and injury prevention policies
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and cleanliness
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Registered Red Seal in the Truck & Transport Trade
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, including supervision of apprentices
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license (Class 3 or 1 would be an asset)
- Must be able to legally work in Canada without sponsorship

International Road Check Reminder May 13-15, 2025
Inspectors will be checking driver logs, documents, and how work hours are recorded. Make sure your logbook is up to date, shows all work time, and includes remarks. Personal conveyance must be used properly and not to extend your day. For U.S. drivers, being registered with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse is required. Tire checks will include tread depth, air pressure, and damage. Steer tires need at least 4/32”, and others 2/32”. If a tire is under 50% pressure, it’s considered flat.
